I mean that in our world, there was a cure for vampirism. It's a long drawn-out story that many vampires thought was a myth. Two years ago, we found it and a year ago it was used.

Except, for yesterday, I found it in this house. Again. And, rather than Damon awakening as a monster, playing Go Fish for his stone and then waiting for even more consequences, I cured him.

He never wanted to be a vampire in the first place.

It's what it sounds like. It cures one vampire. They become human.

Like I said, there's a longer story surrounding it that is basically one big soap opera, but in Damon's case, he's human now. He can't become a vampire again.
