It's just something that I'm wondering about, really. I'm going back through all the people who were accused last time β all of them not just you! β and comparing accusations and defenses and testimonials and conversations we had in all the public chats I could find and like,
Someone said you were strong because you were a slayer. And that's why you could have killed Homelander! I don't believe that, because nyeah. I just don't! But, I'm wondering why it had to be you on the chopping block, because someone else said there was another slayer too!
( you're also not alone now, shockingly to the root of the problem. buffy takes awhile to respond, although there's no typing bubbles or attempts being made. she's just staring at her phone wall eyed, disassociating slightly. )

i guess it could've been faith too, for all the same reasons since we have the same skillset. i just didn't really buy it, because she's i don't really want to put her business out there, but she's pretty much the opposite of me. and i think that's how i would've done it, if i had to. it just felt i don't know. like how you can recognize your handwriting on something you forgot you wrote down.

i am scared of hurting others. at least, i'm scared of hurting people who don't deserve it. faith is
( a long wait in between messages. how to describe faith? buffy has such a complicated relationship with her, it's difficult for her to even know how she feels. but what she does know, more than anything, is that when she thinks of faith, there's nothing so much as sympathy in her chest. she'd do anything to keep an accusation off her.
at the same time, if she is guilty? buffy owes it to her to get her put away, where she can't hurt anyone else. )
we're both slayers, like you said. the one, except we're two, because i died once (the first time) and messed up the cycle a bit. slayers always work alone. you're not allowed to have any friends, because they'll effect your thinking, and make you weak. at least βΒ that's how its supposed to be. i never really listened to that, and when they tried to make me listen to that, i said 'eff you, no way', and kept doing what i was doing.
faith doesn't have anyone. not like me. i'm not i'm not trying to be a jerk about it. i think she's had a really hard life, and it's made it difficult for her to feel like anyone cares about her we were enemies for a long time. she tried to basically destroy the world. but βΒ i don't know. i've been on the end of her hate before, and i know how she fights. she's brutal. she's mean. she attacks people like she's attacking herself. i don't really think she'd just off someone and walk away. she'd want to make herself suffer for it first, i think.
I understand. I'm sorry to press, as well. I want to protect as many people as possible β so, I have to be objective about everything even if it breaks my heart.
I can sympathize with you both, and I'd like to help find a better candidate than either of you. Personalities and history, unfortunately, are not the best evidence when "the wolves want to win" is a given. What about your technical skills?
